Space Camps have Begun!

Join us this summer for a 4-day long space camp (9am - 3pm) where students have the opportunity to learn and implement the Engineering Design Process as they build, test, fly, and analyze their own spacecraft hardware!
Planned Activities:
- Solder flight circuit boards featuring adjustable LED lights.
- Use industry-standard CAD software to design and 3D print flight boxes for the LED circuit boards.
- Design and build payload capsules to protect a delicate payload during flight and recovery.
- Launch the payload capsules and circuit boards to the edge of space, above 99% of the Earth’s atmosphere, on a high-altitude balloon.
- Learn and practice the basics of programming satellite flight computers.
- Tour the NearSpace Launch satellite building facilities.

- Meets Tues - Fri 9am to 3pm.
- Registration runs from Monday, May 13th to May 31st.
- Designed for students entering 6th -12th grade.
- Price is $650 per week with significant scholarships available for those who quality (please reach out for more information).
